Local Influencers

Local influencer marketing utilizes local personalities who have a significant number of followers within a specific geographic area to endorse compatible brands. The objective is to increase brand awareness and drive conversions. These personalities, or influencers, use their platforms to talk positively about products or services, leading to increased sales for the companies they represent. Through our affiliated radio stations, we have a range of prominent Northeast Wisconsin personalities that can help promote your business both on-air and off.

Biff

Biff is a dad joke and pun connoisseur. Wisconsin born and raised growing up in Appleton. Biff is a huge supporter of youth sports, an advocate for mental health, and friend of the LGBTQIA + community. Advertisers who want to work with Biff have the opportunity to gain a personality who doesn’t settle for mediocrity as they give 110% in everything they do.

Corey Carter

Corey enjoys basketball and football and is a health and fitness enthusiast, with close connections to the YMCA.  He’s also worked with countless charities during his 20+ year radio career including Special Olympics and Make-A-Wish.  A down-to-earth family man who has an optimistic outlook on life and enjoys sharing “feel good” stories regularly on-air, Corey can help enhance your brand’s positive image in the market through endorsements, commercial reads and social media campaigns.

Hannah

Hey it’s Hannah! You may hear me on your radio on Y100 every weekday afternoon or maybe you’ve seen me drinking spicy margaritas around NE Wisconsin or scream singing at a concert! I love being able to keep Y100’s listeners company on their drive home from work and love meeting them in person even more. Whether it’s at one of our pre-show parties at Anduzzis, a listener lounge here at the station or just out and about around town – It’s a blast getting to know them and hear their stories! I am also very passionate about the work I do for the Alzheimer’s Association and St. Jude every year and it blows me away time and time again the generosity our community shows. I am big on social media as well so you can get to know more about me there.

Jeff Johnson

I’ve been calling Baton Rouge home for most of my life, but i am now proud to be an honorary cheesehead! Being part of the local community is something very important to me. In fact my first winter here, I proudly dove in head first to support wisconsin special olympics by participating in the polar plunge! My other passion is crafting creative advertising messages to help our clients stand out from their competitors. Every client’s story is unique, and I love having them involved in every step along the way.

Matt Z

With 18 years of experience doing the morning show on WTAQ, I’ve built not only a long lasting relationship with my listeners but with the many clients I’ve worked with over the years.  My goal is to always serve our clients with more than 100% effort so they get the return on investment they are looking for. Over the years I’ve had the honor of working with some amazing organizations in our community including Families of Children with Cancer, Desert Veterans of Wisconsin and our local chapter of the Red Cross.

Outside of work I’m into hiking, biking, travel, craft beer/cocktails, live music and theater.  I also help run a scholarship foundation that rewards high school students with a passion for music and education.  I believe a well rounded personal life directly leads to a successful work life.

Mike Dubord

My goal is to ALWAYS be an ambassador of your business, helping to spread the word of your great products and or services. I’m heavily involved in as many community events and fundraisers as humanly possible. We’re everywhere all the time, hopefully shining a positive light on your relationship with Duke FM.

PJ

Hello I’m PJ!  My show is all about interacting with our listeners and having them involved with my show.  My belief is the listenership I have helped to build on Y100 will not only help your business grow, but will also send you some of the most loyal customers that no other media can do.  Think about this for a moment, I’m actually having people use their phone to make a call!

I’m fortunate that every night loyal listeners do!  Finally, I want to give back any way I can to charities, Some of the closest to me are SOAR Fox Cities and St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

"Shotgun" Randy Shannon

On our show, we do a lot to support Veterans charities like Old Glory Honor Flight, Mission 22, HOOHAH, and others. The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is also a key charity for the station and myself personally.  I also emcee the annual Gourmet Wishes Gala for Make A Wish Wisconsin, and support many local charities each week.

Anyone can read a script for a commercial, but those of us who are passionate about quality and results focus on delivering the right message with the right tone to the right audience.  When I endorse a product, it generates a sense of familiarity, trust, and emotional resonance with my listeners. This emotional connection can lead to increased engagement, loyalty, and a higher likelihood of them purchasing the product or service.  In a crowded marketplace, endorsements can help a brand stand out from its competitors.  I have 35+ years experience understanding the needs of clients and I can deliver the results you are looking for.

Rob Sussman

Rob Sussman is the new co-host of WTAQ’s The Morning News with Matt and Rob. His unusual, opinionated style appeals to the younger side of the valuable 25-55 male demographic. An aspiring renaissance man with interests ranging from technology to beer and food to sports including hunting, hiking and biking to tabletop and video gaming, Rob uses his wide ranging passions and unique personality to connect with listeners. Rob has been a strong supporter of the Desert Veterans of Wisconsin and has hosted two Radiothons in support of Families of Children with Cancer.

Twitch

On Jack FM, we have no live on air talent as we are a very unique format. My role in all of this is to get the station’s brand out and about in our listening area. I do this by increased social media presence, creating new and having consistent promotions and getting involved in the community however I can. The more I can get the station vehicle out whether that’s driving around and just saying hi, delivering ice cream, magnets or can koozies, or even singing The National Anthem at a roller derby match, the more people will talk about our station. When it comes to our advertisers/clients, the possibilities are endless. Listeners love our fun and different approach to radio and this benefits the clients greatly. The listeners will participate in any contests/promotions we have and if we can get out in the public for a client the results will be even better. You can’t miss the bright green cow van! As the new kid on the block, my goal is to build my community connections and come up with unique opportunities to engage or audience. With an acting background I’m a creative brain and someone that is easily connectable to others and I plan to use all of this moving forward to increase brand awareness.
